Rick Middleton (Richard Ray Middleton) was born on November 28, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio. After going to high school at Hayes (Delaware, OH), Middleton attended Ohio State University. Middleton made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the San Diego Chargers and New Orleans Saints over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1978 was Rick Middleton's best year.
