Rich Rollins (Richard John Rollins) was born on April 16, 1938 in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on June 16, 1961 for the Minnesota Twins. In 1962, his rookie year, he hit .298 with 16 home runs and 96 RBI. Rollins played for the Minnesota Twins, Seattle Pilots, Milwaukee Brewers and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that Rich Rollins's best season was 1962, when he slugged 16 home runs, hit for a .298 average and knocked in 96 runs.
