Rich Mostardi (Richard Mostardi) was born on July 1, 1938 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Upper Darby (PA), Mostardi attended the College of Charleston and Kent State University. Mostardi made his professional debut in the NFL in 1960 with the Cleveland Browns. He played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Minnesota Vikings and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 2 year NFL career.Mostardi also played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Oakland Raiders the entire time.
Most people believe that 1961 was Rich Mostardi's best year, as he recovered 3 opponents fumbles.
