Rich Martini (Richard William Martini) was born on November 19, 1955 in Berkeley, California. After going to high school at Ygnacio Valley (Concord, CA), Martini attended the University of California, Davis. Martini made his professional debut in the NFL in 1979 with the Oakland Raiders. He played for the Oakland Raiders and New Orleans Saints over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1979 was Rich Martini's best year.
