Rich Marshall (Richard Arlen Marshall) was born on September 12, 1941 in Carthage, Texas. After going to high school at Carthage (TX), Marshall attended Baylor University and Stephen F. Austin State University. Marshall made his professional debut in the NFL in 1965 with the Green Bay Packers. He played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Washington Redskins and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 2 year NFL career.Marshall also played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the Houston Oilers the entire time.

Most people believe that 1965 was Rich Marshall's best year.
