Rich Gannon (Richard Joseph Gannon) was born on December 20, 1965 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia, PA), Gannon attended the University of Delaware. Gannon made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Minnesota Vikings. He played for the Oakland Raiders, Minnesota Vikings, Kansas City Chiefs and Washington Redskins over the course of his 16 year career.
Most people believe that 2002 was Rich Gannon's best year, as he threw for 4689 yards, tossed 26 TDs and put up a 97.3 passer rating.
