Rey Ordonez (Reynaldo Ordonez) was born on January 11, 1971 in Havana, Cuba. He made his Major League debut on April 1, 1996 for the New York Mets. In 1996, his rookie year, he hit .257 with 1 home run and 30 RBI. Ordonez played for the New York Mets, Tampa Bay Devil Rays and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that Rey Ordonez's best season was 1999, when he knocked in 60 runs.
