Rex Williams (Rex B. Williams) was born on July 16, 1916 in Bonham, Texas. After going to high school at Sherman (TX), Williams attended Texas Technical University. Williams made his professional debut in the NFL in 1940 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Detroit Lions and Chicago Cardinals over the course of his 2 year career.
