Rene Lachemann (Rene George Lachemann) was born on May 4, 1945 in Los Angeles, California. He made his Major League debut on May 4, 1965 for the Kansas City Athletics. In 1965, his rookie year, he hit .227 with 9 home runs and 29 RBI. Lachemann played for the Kansas City Athletics and Oakland Athletics over the course of his 3 year career.
