Reggie Nelson (Reginald DeWayne Nelson) was born on June 23, 1976 in Alexandria, Louisiana. After going to high school at Alexandria (LA), Nelson attended McNeese State University. Nelson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1999 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the Jacksonville Jaguars and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 2 year career.
