Reg Carolan (Reginald Howard Carolan) was born on October 25, 1939 in San Rafael, California. After going to high school at Sir Francis Drake (San Anselmo, CA), Carolan attended the University of Idaho. Carolan made his professional debut in the AFL in 1962 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1966 was Reg Carolan's best year.
