Red Hayworth (Myron Claude Hayworth) was born on May 14, 1916 in High Point, North Carolina. He made his Major League debut on April 21, 1944 for the St. Louis Browns. In 1944, his rookie year, he hit .222 with 1 home run and 25 RBI. Hayworth played for the St. Louis Browns for his entire 2 year career.
