Rebel Steiner (Rebel Roy Steiner) was born on August 27, 1927 in Ensley, Alabama. After going to high school at Ensley (AL), Steiner attended the University of Alabama. Steiner made his professional debut in the NFL in 1950 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1950 was Rebel Steiner's best year, as he picked off 7 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
