[edit] Biography

Born on December 23, 1944 in Glendale, California, Ray Lamb (Raymond Richard Lamb) played for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 5 year career. Lamb broke into the bigs on August 1, 1969 with the Los Angeles Dodgers, and put up a 3.79 ERA in 57 innings pitched in 1970, his rookie year.

There is some disagreement on what was Ray Lamb's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1971, when he posted a 3.35 ERA and struck out 91 batters. However, others believe that it was 1972, when he posted a 3.09 ERA and struck out 64 batters.
