Born on March 23, 1893 in Oakland, California, Ray Kremer (Remy Peter Kremer) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 10 year career. Kremer broke into the bigs on April 18, 1924 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 3.19 ERA in 259.1 innings pitched in 1924, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Ray Kremer's best season was 1926, when he posted a 2.61 ERA, won 20 games and struck out 74 batters.
