Randall Godfrey Should Have Hit Tom Brady Over and Over and Over Instead of Crying!

Well, it’s been 48 hours since the Patriots opened up a can on the Washington Redskins and all yesterday, all we heard were Redskins players crying about the way Peeping Tom handled the play calling by saying the following, which came from Randall Godfrey’s cake hole…
"I said something to (Belichick) after the game," Godfrey said to NBCSports.com. "I told him, 'You need to show some respect for the game.' You just don't do that. I don't care how bad it is. You're up 35 points and you're still throwing deep? That's no respect.... "You look at all the great head coaches ... I'm just disappointed," he said. "You gotta show some class, show some respect. Joe Gibbs? We wouldn't have done that. Bill Walsh? You wouldn't see those types of guys doing that stuff. I've never seen nothing like that. Most teams, you get up like that you sit on the ball and try to run the time out. They're up 30-some points and they're throwing deep. That was blatant disrespect. I hope we can see them again, definitely. You don't see Joe Gibbs doing that. You can't even imagine that kind of stuff coming from him. Joe Gibbs. Bill Walsh. Bill Parcells. This isn't like college going for power rankings. This is the pros you show some respect, show some class."
So Bill Belichick is an asshole…There’s a news flash! I got another news flash…My great coaches are assholes! And like or not Bill falls into this category. Um, Randell, you play defense, right? You play professional football, right? Being a defensive player in the NFL is your job description, right? Well here’s a wild thought…Why don’t you do it a little better than you did on Sunday? Maybe then you wouldn’t feel like the score got ran up! Although I got to give you some props…You’re right, this isn’t college. Which means I only feel sympathetic for those teams who know going into the game are going to get lambasted. True, we all knew on Sunday the game had a good chance to get out of hand, but don’t be whining about it…“Oh please, make the bad man in the hoodie stop!”
What was Belichick suppose to do…Kick field goals on fourth down up 38-0? Would that have made you happy? I doubt it…You would still be pissing and moaning! No where in the NFL by-laws does it say a coach has to call off the dogs! Now true, we don’t see Joe Gibbs doing that…Then again, Joe’s not an asshole. Perhaps just maybe that’s why he hasn’t done anything in the league the second go around? That topic is for a different time and place!
Getting back to being a defensive player in the NFL…Randell, isn’t it your job to hit players? So if you guys couldn’t stop the Patriots, which we all saw you couldn’t do, (but don’t feel bad, nobody has this season) and you thought Belichick was being bush league about it, why didn’t you and your mates decide to play that bush league game too? Look, I don’t know about you, but I be damned if somebody was making me look like a fool…Especially when that somebody is Tom Brady up 38-0. Did it ever dawn on you guys to hit Tom Brady with everything you had even if it was late and take the penalty and utter words to him something of the realm of, “It would be in your best interest Golden Boy to not play the rest of the game…Because if you do, you will get hurt! That’s no lie!” Now, that’s sending a message….Not this 4-year old bull shit, “Oh, he’s not playing right!” Sure a penalty(s) would follow…Boo hoo, it’s not like you were going to win anyway! And you keep doing this until all of Boston got the message loud and clear…“You better take Brady out if you know what’s good for him and the team!” “Otherwise those Super Bowl dreams are going to fall into the hands of Matt Cassell!”
Harsh yeah, but we know Coach Hoodie doesn’t play by the rules…So why should opponents? Especially when they have a bone to pick! Although I’m not the only cat who felt like Godfrey should’ve took matters into his own hands, but that's what Michael Wilbon of the Washington Post seems to think as well…Coincidence that we’re both from Chicago? Hmmmm? In the following chat at the Post’s web site, MW spit this…
Tom Brady's Knee: I can understand Bill Belichick's desire to crush every team in the NFL, but why keep your franchise QB in there to do it? One cheap shot helmet to the knee and it's goodbye Super Bowl unless Cassell suddenly gets good.
Michael Wilbon: You're absolutely right. And if I was on the opposing team, I'd hit Tom Brady with everything I had as late as I could and take the penalty and join the fight that would surely follow. Football is a violent game and there's got to be somebody out there sharpening his fangs for the Patriots Golden Boy in the 4th quarter one of these weeks. F-ing A right…That’s how we roll in Chi!
Godfrey was in a position to do something Sunday…Had opportunities to show his displeasures, but decided to pass like Tom Brady was up 38-0. Now because he didn’t have the grapes to do anything…Didn’t have enough pride to stand up for himself and his teammates, now he can only hope “we can see them again, definitely.” Guess he has heard of the saying, “You only get one time to make a first impression.” And that impression was nothing than a four-year old crying to his mommy!
