Ralph Stewart (Ralph E. Stewart) was born on December 10, 1925 in St. Louis, Missouri. After going to high school at McKinley (St. Louis, MO), Stewart attended the University of Missouri and the University of Notre Dame. Stewart made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1947 with the New York Yankees. He played for the New York Yankees for his entire 2 year career.
