Ralph Goldston

Ralph Goldston (Ralph Peter Goldston) was born on February 25, 1929 in Campbell, Ohio. After going to high school at Memorial (Campbell, OH), Goldston attended Indiana University and Youngstown State University. Goldston made his professional debut in the NFL in 1952 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 3 year career.
He carried the ball 79 times for 203 yards, caught four passes for 20 yards and scored three touchdowns, then made a name for himself as a hard nosed guy who had a knack of getting to the ball when he was switched the defensive side of the football.
He joined the Hamilton Tiger Cats of the C.F.L., finishing playing with them for nine seasons while finishing his professional playing career in the C.F.L with the Montreal Alouettes in 1965.
Most people believe that 1952 was Ralph Goldston's best year.
