Born on November 24, 1890 in Sylvania, Ohio, Ralph Comstock (Ralph Remick Comstock) played for the Detroit Tigers, Pittsburgh Rebels, Boston Red Sox and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 3 year career. Comstock broke into the bigs on August 26, 1913 with the Detroit Tigers, and put up a 5.37 ERA in 60.1 innings pitched in 1913, his rookie year.
