Born on December 19, 1979 in San Jose, Macoris (Dominican Republic), Rafael Soriano (Rafael Soriano) played for the Seattle Mariners for his entire 5 year career. Soriano broke into the bigs on May 10, 2002 with the Seattle Mariners, and put up a 1.53 ERA in 53 innings pitched in 2003, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Rafael Soriano's best season was 2003, when he posted a 1.53 ERA and struck out 68 batters.
