R.C. Gamble (R.C. Gamble, Jr.) was born on March 2, 1943 in Greensville, South Carolina. After going to high school at Sterling (Greenville, SC), Gamble attended South Carolina State University. Gamble made his professional debut in the AFL in 1968 with the Boston Patriots. He played for the Boston Patriots for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1968 was R.C. Gamble's best year.
