Pug Bennett (Justin Titus Bennett) was born on February 20, 1874 in Ponca, Nebraska. He made his Major League debut on April 12, 1906 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1906, his rookie year, he hit .262 with 1 home run and 34 RBI. Bennett played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 2 year career.
