Pryor McElveen (Pryor Mynatt McElveen) was born on November 5, 1881 in Atlanta, Georgia. He made his Major League debut on April 26, 1909 for the Brooklyn Superbas. In 1909, his rookie year, he hit .198 with 3 home runs and 25 RBI. McElveen played for the Brooklyn Superbas for his entire 3 year career.
