Priest Holmes to return?

Priest Holmes is now eligible to come off of the PUP now that week six has ended. We haven't received a straight answer, but it seems likely that we'll see Priest suiting up soon. The only question is will he be any good?

He is 34 years old and we all know that in today's age for runningbacks Mr. Holmes is still in fridge well past his expiration date. But this is the same guy who bounced back from what many considered to be a career-ending hip injury. But the next seson Priest defied the odds against him, and was on top of the world the next season. Then it all came crashing down when in 2005 he suffered a severe and career-ending spinal cord injury...Or so we thought, now he's back, and it should be interesting to see how this story turns out. I've never been a Priest Holmes fan but I have the utmost respect for him and wish him the best of luck.

Priest is one of my favorites of all time. he was an UNDRAFTED player. he was the starter in Baltimore before Jamal Lewis came in as a rookie and took the job from him, so at that point he was a pedestrian ho-hum RB. Under the high flying Chiefs under Vermeil as we all know his career skyrocketed, putting up at times record breaking numbers. I have no reason to doubt hes gotten himself into great game shape by now, yuo know Holmes would not go out onto the field if he wasn't somewhere close to the caliber of player he once was, nor would Edwards put him in the game, especially now that Johnson has signed the astronomical contract. I'm eager to see how this pans out too.
