Pid Purdy (Everett Virgil Purdy) was born on June 15, 1904 in Beatrice, Nebraska. After going to high school at Beatrice (NE), Purdy attended Beloit College. Purdy made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 2 year career.
