Phil Perlo (Phillip Donald Perlo) was born on December 6, 1935 in Washington, District Of Columbia. After going to high school at Roosevelt (Washington, DC), Perlo attended the University of Maryland. Perlo made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Houston Oilers. He played for the Houston Oilers for his entire 1 year career.
