[edit] Biography

Phil Hiatt (Philip Farrell Hiatt) was born on May 1, 1969 in Pensacola, Florida. He made his Major League debut on April 7, 1993 for the Kansas City Royals. In 1993, his rookie year, he hit .218 with 7 home runs and 36 RBI. Hiatt played for the Kansas City Royals, Detroit Tigers and Los Angeles Dodgers over the course of his 4 year career.

Hiatt was also one of the players named in the Mitchell Report. According to the report, Hiatt was a player that received steroids from former Mets clubhouse attendant Kirk Radomski. Radomski allegedly met Hiatt when he was a member of the Dodgers in 2001, and sold Hiatt a combination of HGH and Deca-Durabolin on two or three occasions. Hiatt declined to speak with George Mitchell about these allegations.
