Phil Freeman (Phillip Emery Freeman) was born on December 9, 1962 in St. Paul, Minnesota. After going to high school at St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA), Freeman attended the University of Arizona. Freeman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1985 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1986 was Phil Freeman's best year, as he had 582 kick return yards.
