Phil Epps (Phillip Earl Epps) was born on November 11, 1959 in Atlanta, Texas. After going to high school at Atlanta (TX), Epps attended Texas Christian University. Epps made his professional debut in the NFL in 1982 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers and New York Jets over the course of his 8 year career.
Most people believe that 1985 was Phil Epps's best year, as he hauled in 44 receptions and had 683 receiving yards.
