Born on April 8, 1969 in Beverly, Massachusetts, Pete Walker (Peter Brian Walker) played for the New York Mets, San Diego Padres, Colorado Rockies and Toronto Blue Jays over the course of his 8 year career. Walker broke into the bigs on June 7, 1995 with the New York Mets, and put up a 4.36 ERA in 140.1 innings pitched in 2002, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Pete Walker's best season was 2002, when he posted a 4.36 ERA, won 10 games and struck out 80 batters.
