Pete Manning (Peter J. Manning) was born on August 11, 1937 in Hudson, Massachusetts. After going to high school at (MA), Manning attended Wake Forest University. Manning made his professional debut in the NFL in 1960 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 2 year career.
