Pepper Johnson (Thomas Johnson) was born on July 29, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan. After going to high school at MacKenzie (Detroit, MI), Johnson attended Ohio State University. Johnson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1986 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns, New York Jets and Detroit Lions over the course of his 13 year career.
Most people believe that 1991 was Pepper Johnson's best year, as he recorded 6.5 sacks.
