Pee-Wee Wanninger (Paul Louis Wanninger) was born on December 12, 1902 in Birmingham, Alabama. He made his Major League debut on April 22, 1925 for the New York Yankees. In 1925, his rookie year, he hit .236 with 1 home run and 22 RBI. Wanninger played for the New York Yankees, Cincinnati Reds and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 2 year career.
