Pedro Gonzalez (Pedro (Olivares) Gonzalez) was born on December 12, 1937 in San Pedro de Macoris, Macoris (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on April 11, 1963 for the New York Yankees. In 1965, his rookie year, he hit .254 with 5 home runs and 39 RBI. Gonzalez played for the New York Yankees and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 5 year career.
