Paul Mitchell (Paul Anthony Mitchell) was born on August 10, 1920 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After going to high school at Edison (Minneapolis, MN), Mitchell attended the University of Minnesota. Mitchell made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1946 with the Los Angeles Dons. He played in the AAFC for 4 years, playing for the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dons over the course of his 4 year AAFC career.Mitchell also played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the New York Yanks the entire time.

Most people believe that 1950 was Paul Mitchell's best year.
