The Paul Bunyon Trophy is awarded to the winner of the annual University of Michigan vs. Michigan State University game. It has been awarded since 1953 and Michigan has kept for the majority of the years in this rivalry.
The Paul Bunyon award has been split only twice with ties in 1958 & 1963. A history of the matchup between these in-state rivals can be found here.
