Born on February 4, 1959 in Taylorville, Illinois, Pat Perry (William Patrick Perry) played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers over the course of his 6 year career. Perry broke into the bigs on September 12, 1985 with the St. Louis Cardinals, and put up a 3.80 ERA in 68.2 innings pitched in 1986, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Pat Perry's best season was 1987, when he posted a 3.56 ERA.
