Pat Franklin (Patrick Dijon Franklin) was born on August 16, 1963 in Bay City, Texas. After going to high school at Bay City (TX), Franklin attended Southwest Texas State University and the University of Houston. Franklin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1986 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Cincinnati Bengals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1986 was Pat Franklin's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
