Acquired

2003 CFL Draft (1st Round, 6th overall)

2005

Enjoyed his most productive season as a Lion pulling in a career-high 48 passes for 617 yards and 4 TD's. Led the Lions with 6 receptions in the 2005 West Championship game vs Edmonton. Had a season-high 81 yards receiving on 4 catches vs Saskatchewan (Oct 01/05).

2003-2004

Filled a backup receiver role for the Lions and grabbed 16 passes for 223 yards over two seasons after signing in mid-2003. Played in the 2004 Grey Cup game vs Toronto.

Notable: Appeared in 44 games for the Lions and has not missed a game in two seasons. Saw his playing time increase dramatically in 2005 as he became a principal target for Lions quarterbacks with his 48 catches. Had a terrific college career at Utah after transferring from Butte College.

College

2002]

As a Utah Ute, Jackson made 43 catches in 11 games to finish second on the team in receiving yards with 553. He also finished third on the team in all-purpose yards with 557 and third on the team in scoring with 6 touchdowns. He received an honourable mention as a WAC All-Star.

2001

Transferred to the University of Utah and played in 12 games for the Utes where he made 11 catches for 97 yards.

2000

Began his post-secondary career at Butte College in California where he was an All-Conference player, making 35 catches for 899 yards and 8 touchdowns.

Personal

Jackson majored in Sociology at Utah. In high school, he was team captain at Carson Graham Secondary and in his senior year set the school's single-game record for most rushing yards and touchdowns, accumulating 2,138 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns. Jackson enjoys surfing, traveling, outdoor activities, eating Asian food, watching action/comedy movies, and listening to hip-hop and R&B. In honour of his mother's passing, he wears a cross around his neck containing her ashes. He takes it off only for games, but he first dresses in his equipment, kisses the cross, and places it in his locker.
