Otto Schnellbacher (Otto O. Schnellbacher) was born on April 15, 1923 in Sublette, Kansas. Schnellbacher attended the University of Kansas. Schnellbacher made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1948 with the New York Yankees. He played in the AAFC for 2 years, playing for the New York Yankees the entire time. Schnellbacher also played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the New York Giants the entire time.
Most people believe that 1948 was Otto Schnellbacher's best year, as he picked off 11 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
