Ollie Cline (Oliver M. Cline) was born on December 31, 1925 in Mount Vernon, Ohio. After going to high school at Fredericktown (OH), Cline attended Ohio State University. Cline made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1948 with the Cleveland Browns. He played in the AAFC for 2 years, playing for the Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 2 year AAFC career.Cline also played in the NFL for 4 years, playing for the Detroit Lions the entire time.
Most people believe that 1949 was Ollie Cline's best year, as he ran for 518 yards.
