Norm Thompson (Norman Jack Thompson) was born on March 5, 1945 in San Francisco, California. After going to high school at Galileo (San Francisco, CA), Thompson attended Laney Junior College and The Univesity of Utah. Thompson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Baltimore Colts over the course of his 9 year career.
Most people believe that 1975 was Norm Thompson's best year, as he picked off 7 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
