Nook Logan
[edit] Biography
Nook Logan (Exavier Prente Logan) was born on November 28, 1979 in Natchez, Mississippi. He made his Major League debut on July 21, 2004 for the Detroit Tigers. In 2004, his rookie year, he hit .278 with 0 home runs and 10 RBI. Logan played for the Detroit Tigers and Washington Nationals over the course of his 3 year career.
Logan was also one of the players named in baseball's Mitchell Report. According to the report, Logan was introduced to former Mets clubhouse attendant Kirk Radomski by teammate Rondell White. Radomski claims that he sold Logan one kit of HGH shortly before federal agents searched his house in late 2005. Radomski also alleges that he had several conversations (between 6 and 8) with Logan about the use of these drugs, and that Logan confirmed receiving the shipment during one of these conversations. Radomski also had Logan's phone number in his cell phone directory when he was interviewed by investigators for the Mitchell Report.
Like most players, Logan declined to meet with investigators for the Mitchell Report.
