Nelson Rupp (Nelson Gadd Rupp) was born on June 15, 1891 in Cincinnati, Ohio. After going to high school at Doane Academy (Granville, OH), Rupp attended Denison University. Rupp made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Dayton Triangles. He played for the Dayton Triangles for his entire 1 year career.
