Nate Allen (Nathaniel Sheraldton Allen) was born on May 13, 1948 in Georgetown, South Carolina. After going to high school at Georgetown (SC), Allen attended Texas Southern University. Allen made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers over the course of his 9 year career.
Most people believe that 1976 was Nate Allen's best year, as he picked off 3 passes.
