NFL Preview Show Extravaganza: Denver Broncos

It's Friday and we continue to profile the AFC West, with the one and only Denver Broncos.

The Broncos finished the regular season in third in the AFC West, going 9-7, missing out on the playoffs.

They drafted DE Jarvis Moss out of Florida in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft. They open up the regular season on the road, as they take on the Buffalo Bills. The Broncos will also face the Indianapolis Colts, Detroit Lions and Houston Texans on the road.

At home, they'll face the Tennessee Titans, the Minnesota Vikings and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

I agree with Denver winning the West. They have to have the best secondary in the NFL. If someone could put some pressure on the QB and stop the run, this could be one of the top Defenses in the league.

I don't want to get too worried based on preseason play, but the Broncos' defense looks like crap so far and Cutler needs to stop throwing off his back foot. The only reason I think they'll come in second in the division is that the Chiefs and Raiders really suck. This makes me sad.

I know it's preseason, but their defense made the Browns look good. I'd be worried if I were a Denver fan.

Are the Broncos (especially Mike Shanahan) the most overrated team in the NFL every season since Elway retired, or is it just me? LOTS of teams have 1000 yard rushers every year... it's only 63 yards a game... jeez.

The potentially favorable schedule could be beneficial, but Denver missed the playoffs last year because of a loss to the 49ers at home.
