Myrt Basing (Myrtle F. Basing) was born on October 29, 1900 in Appleton, Wisconsin. After going to high school at Appleton (WI), Basing attended Lawrence University. Basing made his professional debut in the NFL in 1923 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 5 year career.
