Murray Evans (Murray Charles Evans) was born on June 23, 1919 in Nashville, Tennessee. Evans attended Hardin-Simmons University. Evans made his professional debut in the NFL in 1942 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1942 was Murray Evans's best year.
