Morris Owens (Morris Lamar Owens) was born on February 14, 1953 in Oakland, California. After going to high school at Chowchilla (CA), Owens attended Arizona State University. Owens made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the Miami Dolphins. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Miami Dolphins over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1978 was Morris Owens's best year, as he had 640 receiving yards and caught 5 TD passes.
