Morrie Aderholt (Morris Woodrow Aderholt) was born on September 13, 1915 in Mount Olive, North Carolina. He made his Major League debut on September 13, 1939 for the Washington Senators. In 1945, his rookie year, he hit .290 with 2 home runs and 17 RBI. Aderholt played for the Washington Senators, Brooklyn Dodgers and Boston Braves over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that Morrie Aderholt's best season was 1945, when he hit for a .290 average.
